After a promising tournament in Wels a couple of weeks ago, this Saturday 14th May 2022 marks the actual start of the 7s season. The Stade A Team will travel to Leoben to compete against RC Tigers, RC Linz, RC Graz, RU Donau and the host ARC Leoben, the two latter being in the same pool as Stade.

The goal of this first of two tournaments (the second being on the 21st of May) is to qualify for the 7s State Championship on June 16th.

The whole team shares Coach Fabi’s thoughts about the upcoming challenge: "We look forward to the challenge and want to show some good Sevens Rugby".
It is now time to switch from 15s mentality to 7s, put on a good show, and play some beautiful rugby this weekend!

The Stade Esprit will not only be represented by the A-Team, however, as the Stade/Celtic women’s team will play in their tournament in Leoben - hopefully also bringing back a win!
