New COVID regulation from November 8th 2021

Dear Members, Players, Parents and Coaches,

After discussion with some other rugby clubs of Vienna, we would like to update you on the latest rules for Covid in Vienna.

The new 2G rules are now applying and started November 8th (vaccinated or recovered).

In a nutshell, the rules are the following :
- For children :

  1. from 6-11 years of age, the “Ninja Pass” is accepted as proof of entry. A fully glued pass is also valid on weekends.
  2. the 2.5G rule applies to children aged 12-15 years (vaccinated, recovered, PCR-tested). This means that the “Ninja Pass” is valid during the week, but not for the whole weekend. For this age group, PCR tests are valid for 48 hours.
  3. after the end of compulsory schooling, the same rules apply to young people as to adults.

- 3G (2.5G in Vienna) still applies to top athletes, trainers and supervisors
- For all others members and parents, the sport facilities may only be entered with 2G (vaccinated, recovered)
These rules are valid for now but can change anytime.

Regarding the contact persons, if your child is considered as category 2 contact person (K2), your child can only attends kindergarten/school for 5 days after the last contact with the sick person. This is up to and including 11/17/2021.

And HAVE YOUR CHILD TESTED, immediately after becoming aware of the Covid case and on day 5 after the last contact with the positive person, in order to continue attending the educational institution.
